Based on Applied Kinesiology, (N.O.T.) deals with our basic survival systems of fight/flight, feeding/immune and reproduction.
It’s premise that everything that happens to us on a physical, chemical, or emotional level, must be processed through one or more of these three basic survival systems.
Our reaction to these stimuli occurs as a chain reaction of neuro-biochemical events designed to help us to survive. Our nervous system is constantly monitoring both the internal and external environment.
Much of the sensory input is processed sub conscious utilising a vast array of information gathering sensors in our skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments called mechanoreceptors (proprioceptors).
Neural Organisation Technique works on re-modulating the sensory input to our CNS.Therefore it helps to re-establish optimal neural functioning by resetting neural pathways and undoing compensatory states.
Via non-invasive tests I am able to assess the status of the survival systems and gauge to what extent the nervous systems is promoting protective/defensive responses rather than growth and repair in your body.
I will then will then use non-invasive reflex, cranial, and spinal techniques to reactivate and reorganize the nervous system.
N.O.T. is particularly helpful with children who have learning or behavioural difficulties and who display disorganisation or immaturity of the nervous system which interferes with the ability to process or interpret the information coming in from the senses.
Primitive reflexes are linked to the survival systems and often these primitive reflexes are “retained” or not developed properly into the mature survival systems or are “reinstated” due to trauma. This can often lead to learning difficulties as the brain’s hemispheric integration is compromised.
Neural Organisation work identifies compensatory states and removes the ones that are no longer needed leading to function and potential
Some conditions N.O.T treats are:
- Chronic Neck Pain
- Re-occurring Ear & Sinus infections
- Bladder Issues
- Sleeping Problems
- Immune Disorders
